How to Delete Your SxyHub Account and Request Data Removal

Before You Delete

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Before proceeding, consider:

• Downloading your content — There is currently no bulk export tool. Download individual videos from your Studio before deleting.
• Deactivating instead — If you need a break, simply stop using the platform. Your account and content remain intact.
• Creator accounts — If you are an active creator, all your uploaded videos will be permanently deleted and removed from all feeds.

How to Request Account Deletion

Full self-service account deletion is available via our support team. To request deletion:

1. Email SxyHub Support from the email address registered on your account.
2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
3. Include in your message:
   • Your SxyHub username
   • Confirmation that you want your account permanently deleted
   • Any specific data removal requests (see GDPR section below)
4. Our team will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days.
5. You'll receive a confirmation email from noreply@sxyhub.com once deletion is complete.

For your security, deletion requests must come from the registered email or be verified via a secondary identity check. We cannot delete accounts based on unverified third-party requests.

What Data is Deleted

Upon account deletion, the following is permanently removed:

• Your profile (username, display name, bio, avatar, social links)
• All uploaded videos and associated metadata
• Comments, likes, saves, and follow relationships
• Account credentials (email, password hash)
• Watch history and preference signals
• Notification records

Data We Retain (and Why)

Certain data may be retained for a period after deletion for legal reasons:

• Age verification records — Retained for the legally required period under 18 U.S.C. § 2257 for creator accounts.
• Transaction logs — Required for financial/tax compliance (if applicable).
• Abuse/moderation records — Retained to prevent ban evasion and assist future law enforcement requests.

GDPR & CCPA Rights

Depending on your location, you have additional rights:

• GDPR (EU users): Right to erasure, right to access, right to portability, right to restrict processing. Exercise any of these by emailing SxyHub Support with subject "GDPR Data Request".
• CCPA (California users): Right to know, right to delete, right to opt-out of sale. We do not sell personal data. To exercise your rights, email SxyHub Support with subject "CCPA Data Request".

We respond to all verified privacy rights requests within 30 days (GDPR) or 45 days (CCPA).
