Using a Strong Password
Your password is your first line of defense. SxyHub recommends:
- Minimum 12 characters (SxyHub requires 8, but 12+ is far more secure)
- A mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
- A unique password — never reuse passwords across sites
- Using a password manager (e.g., Bitwarden, 1Password) to generate and store complex passwords
Signs of Suspicious Account Activity
Watch for these warning signs that your account may be compromised:
- Unexpected emails from
noreply@sxyhub.comabout logins you didn't perform - Videos in your Studio that you didn't upload
- Profile information (bio, avatar, username) changed without your action
- Followers you don't recognize being added or removed
- Unexpected password reset emails in your inbox
What to Do if Your Account is Hacked
- Change your password immediately — go to Account Settings or use Forgot Password if you're locked out.
- Change your email password if your registered email may also be compromised.
- Log out of all sessions — go to Account Settings → Security and revoke active sessions.
- Contact SxyHub Support — email SxyHub Support with subject "Compromised Account". Our team can lock the account, verify your identity, and help you recover it.
- Review your content — check Studio for unauthorized uploads and delete any you didn't create.
Managing Active Sessions
If you've logged in from multiple devices, you can review and revoke sessions from Account Settings → Security. This is especially important if you've previously used a shared or public device.
Avoiding Phishing Attacks
Phishing emails impersonate SxyHub to steal your credentials. Protect yourself:
- All official SxyHub emails come from:
@sxyhub.com(e.g.,noreply@sxyhub.com,support@sxyhub.com). Any other domain is fake. - SxyHub will never ask for your password via email.
- Always check the URL before logging in — the real address is
https://sxyhub.com. - If you receive a suspicious email claiming to be from SxyHub, forward it to SxyHub Support for confirmation.
