Viewing and Replying
Engagement is key to building an audience. You can see comments on your videos in two ways:
- In-Feed: Tap the comment icon while viewing your own video.
- Studio: (Coming Soon) A dedicated Comments tab in the Creator Studio will allow you to see all comments across all videos in one place.
Replying to fans helps boost your video's engagement score in the Feed Algorithm.
Deleting Comments
As a creator, you have full control over your comment section:
- Open the comment section on your video.
- Locate the comment you want to remove.
- Tap and hold (mobile) or click the ⋯ menu (desktop) and select Delete.
Deleted comments are removed permanently for everyone.
Automatic Keyword Filters
To keep your comment section clean, you can set up automatic filters:
- Go to Creator Studio → Settings.
- Locate Comment Filters.
- Add words or phrases you want to block (e.g., specific slurs, spam links).
Any comment containing these words will be held for your review or automatically hidden depending on your settings.
Disabling Comments
If you prefer not to have a comment section on a specific video:
- Go to Studio → Content.
- Edit the video metadata.
- Toggle off Allow Comments.
- Save changes.
Engagement Best Practices
- Be active early: Replying to the first few comments after an upload signals to the algorithm that the video is sparking conversation.
- Pinned comments: (Coming Soon) Pin a comment to the top to ask a question or provide important links.
- Community Guidelines: Encourage your fans to follow our Community Guidelines for a respectful environment.
If you encounter abusive or harassing comments that violate platform rules, please also Report them to our safety team.
