Do I need to apply or get approved to become a Contributor?
No. Any registered user can start uploading immediately. There's no application form, no vetting process, and no follower minimum. Sign up and you're a contributor.
What's the difference between a Contributor and a Creator?
In practice, very little. Both roles can upload videos, access the Studio dashboard, appear in the For You feed, earn revenue, and be followed by viewers. The Creator role is associated with our founding programme — it includes a verified badge and 100% revenue share for the first 12 months.
How does the 70% revenue split work exactly?
When ads run against your videos, 70% of that ad revenue is credited to your account. We retain 30% to cover platform infrastructure, CDN costs, and operations. Payouts are processed on a regular schedule — no thresholds to hit before you can withdraw.
How many videos do I need before I start earning?
Zero minimum. Your very first video is eligible for ad revenue from the moment it's published and live in the feed. There's no minimum video count, no minimum view count, no waiting period.
Will my videos actually be seen by anyone?
Yes — all uploaded content is eligible for the For You feed algorithm, which actively surfaces videos to viewers based on their taste. You don't need existing followers to get views. New accounts also receive a placement boost on their first uploads.
Can I switch from Contributor to Creator later?
